Hi, I'm looking to upgrade my 2000 model Tiga 271. Mainly interested in Flat water blasting / Speed sailing and my regular spot is Melville Beach, WA. A quick check of options and bank balance has me trying to decide between Isonic 105 ('06) or 101 ('07). Info / opinions in regard to these two boards would be appreciated. Thanks.

hiya Terry get the 105 iso i got mine brand new in Dram just this year so easy to jibe and since you'll be in flat water it'll teach you better..all around board not so super fast but it'll hang with the best..i believe the 101 is newer but look being new doesn't mean it's better..nice range on the former and since i went backwards instead of forwards cuz of bank balance i think i earned lotsa 'interest' on what i paid for

Stick with the Tiga Terry. A much under rated board. The isonic won't offer anything better.

The kind of response I expect from someone that is worried about having all of their PB's surpassed.
