That's an awesome clip Jason! Super smooth panning, very stable and great exposure and lighting. Very professional. Keep 'em coming
Ah, the memories!! Great video Jason. That was back in the old days when every second sail wasn't a red Severne! (know locally as the Bushfire effect)!
^^^Almost 4 years ago to the day that one...It was the 27th of May 2016 for the lastest vid. Thanks for the comments, The equipment has got better (Using the DJI OSMO in the latest) and I've simplified my editing and removed all the rubbish I use to put in. Anyways it was a quick camera test, I'll see what I can put together over the next few westerlies...I'll need some volunteers to carry some GoPros so I can add some on boards runs.
Cheers J.
Is that before it got ballistic? looks choppy..
Sue, this is a video of when it was 40+ knots and choppy, by Phil D'arcy.

Saw that one
I can identify with the audio..Pity go pro makes the chop look flatter - it must have looked gigantic in the flesh. Amazing effort getting 38kts + in that Nigel!
Nice vid Phil thanks for posting nigel.i spotted myself in there a few times, yeah it was windy![]()
I'm no Jason I'm still learning how to use a go pro and I can't do any editing or stuff. much like my gear I'm still stuck in the 90s

I find Windows MovieMaker to be pretty intuitive and easy to use. And it's free.
