Great effort by Cocky Pete of the Sunshine Coast Vikings to be the first in the GPSTC to clock 50K at a phenomenal rate!

Congrats Peter, in just under 4 years...!

Pete has certainly owned this category, thing is his home spot is not as windy as brisbane or many other places & is quite gusty, if it was more consistent this number would be quite a bit higher.

Next stop 100k.

Benefits of big lake nearby. Congratulation Assuming average 20 knots it means 1388 hours sailing or 57 days !

or 6 trips across the ditch to New Zealand and back ( 4163km each way)
