blowing from 20 to 30 knotts all day. was out on a slash and burn quattro 69ltre, and a 4,2 SO (hotsails) out with my dad who was on a 98litre JP FSW and 4,8 hotsails smack,
planing 99% of the time, few good jumps, lots of nice jumps with bad landings and lots of small jumps with good landings, a bit of riding the waves in, alot of carving, and alot of watersarts
but well worth it, twas a 2 week breek from windsufing due to a few things, (shoulder was stuffed for most of it, lack of transport, and ofcoarse no wind) but tomoro is looking good for the morning again so im stoked![]()
i was at woodies today, bit on and off, but none the less great sail. (also first tiem out on a skinny [technolimits 66% carb] and was very pleased[thank you windshack
very happy])
where is every one heading tomoro ![]()

Pelli Point was fun. Very gusty, but strong.
It's a nice change using a small sail after a winters worth of light winds. I was using a 4.5, there were a couple of guys on 4.2s, some on ~5.3s, and there were the usual crazy slalom dudes on bigger sails.
Looks like it might be good for Pelli Point tomorrow morning.
yeah peli point for some river fun, but jumping is harder there, may have a look tho depending on my mood tomoro, pretty keen to nail a good jump, ( aka more than 1.5mtrs) simlply because after todays terrible landing i want to see if i can actually nail one smoothly because most of my larger jumps where nose landing, so i wanna get some tail landing... but i think if i had some nicer/bigger ramps comethrough today it would have been good.
Yeah i was on my acid 74 and 4.2 rock. The gusts blew hard, was out in warnbro sound when the rain hit gez it hurt my face lol.But was all good fun :)
Tomorrow morning should be ok if you get up early but will die off b4 lunch so it looks.
Went out at dutchies, was a good fun day, Max overpowered on ~80Lt bluejuice custom wave board (sick board) and 5.2m (would have like a 4.7m).
Did am to 10am seshion up at Mullaloo got worked real hard by a huge freak wave. Went home for lunch and a rest. Then went to Dutchies from 2pm to 5.30pm bit onshore and smaller there, but got some sweet waves, heaps easier to sail at Dutchies than the shore break at Mullaloo. 5.0 Tushinham Rock all day, one tired happy chappy![]()
caught the same wave in, that worked rider5 on his way out.
i crapped my self coming in on it, coz the big ones jack up and barrell off the second sand bar.
rider5 was a shivering, gibbering wreck back on the beach.![]()

hmmmm winds back in might go back to munchers.
Out at Mettams late yesterday. To big and sucky on the sets and breaking right accross the bay, got worked, had gear dragged over the reef and finished about 200 meters down wind. Not happy. I just got back from Gnarloo and it was safer there than at Mettams.
Didn't get down to Lucky Bay till 3 yesterday due to some other commitments. Rigged up a 5.2 really down tuned and thought it was going to be too big. Just as I finished it died. About the same time a mate of mine arrives and puts up a 7.5 (that's how much it had died).
I went out just for the heck and stood on my board. My mate had great fun. Then the wind came again. I was hanging on for grim death and my mate was in the drink. All afternoon it was his turn, my turn, his turn, my turn.
There was no sail size that was correct. Even with my 5.2 I had to keep adjusting the outhaul every run or two.
It was the best blast I have had for a long time.
back to munching mullaz today...not as big.... but the occasional freak coming through.
scott did an underwater forward loop in the munch zone ![]()
his skinny snapped in 4 places ![]()

back to woodies today, nice melow runs, not to much going on, but few good ramps. and jumps, to many flat landings
now my knees feel like they arnt even there. but the day got off to a crappy start in the morning, and just as i almost gave up, whent doen, rigged a 5.8 superfreek, and 86litre board, plaining most of the time, few dead bits. but it was still sweet!
never go out with a woboly fin in the fin box. it is the biggest pain in the @r$e, and especially as it gets locked on a bit of angle so your board in trying to do a bit of a 360.
also alot of weed wich was bad being on my MFC freewave fin, it picked every bit of it up, still bit of a jump and it just falls off, but bad thing, need to be plaining inorder to get a jump.
still stoked over such a good weak end, just a shame to go back to school/work now![]()
