where to in Qld

on holidays in Bris vegas and Hastings point at the momento and would like some advice on where to go sail. prefer flat water, just a burn and turn merchent really. thanks

In Brisbane over the next few days Wellington point will probably be best.

Down around Hastings, there's not much flat water, but you cold head a bit further down the road to Lennox Head...but thats still surf. I think Ballana would be the only place at all close (about 30mins or so) with flat water around there.

Vicky point is another spot to check out bit flatter than wello and on low tide theres a speed bank.

Victoria point is definately worth a look with all the southerlies about.

went there this morning. had a good session with lots of people on the water.

nice little 1 foot waves rolling through the shallows at one end and plenty of flat water just off the beach at the other end.

definately a fun spot.
