It might be worth contacting Safari Lodge on Nananu-I-Ra to see if they're selling last season's rental gear

You moved to Fiji and never thought about taking your own gear? Had you been to fiji before you moved there?
lol yep been here alot. took the kite but now want windsurfing gear back so i can pay both ways lol ![]()
I was told that Fiji ask for a hefty import duty on things brought into the country. I wonder if this means that windsurfing gear is expensive or not even available. Not that I have been many places there, but I would have thought windsurfing gear would be next to impossible to find there.
It might be worth flying back to Aus just to buy some and taking it back. Of course its the same 'surfboard' that you left Fiji with and you are just coming home ![]()

Hey Andrew, you could try Noumea which has a healthy windsurf scene with shops. And if you're out that way for work it would be easy to bring back?
Fiji is in a stopover of a flight that leaves Nouméa every week for Wallis and Futuna, operated by Aircalin.
if you could manage to stop on your way from Oz in Nouméa you could pick up some gear.
Another solution would be to ask shops to send it to you. Diabolo does it.
As HF said shops are loaded with gear here at really good prices.
