Any tips for what to do when you just can't sail anymore?

my knees are shot, my back hurts and i can't clench my fists.

after weeks of 20-25 knot winds i don't reckon i can face another day on the water. today was once again "howling" sailed for 3.5 hours, last weekend was the same. i just lloked at the graphs and once again. it's green all week with forecasts of 25 knots every day.

maybe i'm getting old cause the body just doesn't recover as fast as it used to.

i am thinking it may be time to have a holiday. was thinking WA! or anywhere else where it doesn't blow day and night for months.

Maybe you need to make a few changes in the way you sail so it dont take as much out of you physically. eg. sore back - change to a waist harness, this may also help take some pressure out of those shot knees. Cant clench your fists, you shouldnt need too, not even when jumping or wavesailing! Try adjusting your harness lines so that your sail is more neutral. also having the lines closer together will help keep your rig easier to maneuver and tune when hooked in. Hope this is of some help.
