Incredible sailing with the baggy sails like that. It's as if they were doing it on purpose.
Me was sailing vintage stuff at a local show last year, with teak booms and old baggy sails. Freestyle was a bit rusty, but all in all, was fun. Going from a 100l freestyle board to a barge in the same hour.
I had managed to tie the booms and sail a lot better than those people in the clip.

that old style movie footage certainly reminds me of those old propaganda movies around 1938 with a proud A.H. and Ava and the beautiful doggy looking on proudly from the deck of thier mountain retreat above the youth camp.
Must have been one of the old movie newsreel camera man shooting this one...hee hee
Damn, I thought the late seventies was the early days! That video combined with the source of all unimpeachable knowledge (Wikipedia) has fixed that idea.
