i noticed Redcliffe gets alot of wind, but i have never sailed there. is it fun, i hear it is?

loads of wind...

check the graphs....

bumpy and flat.... depends where you go...

we do, it's just not always sailable there coz of the strong current running in the same direction as the wind sometimes.

is that because of planing issues or safety issues?

i'm pretty new to the spot.....

what is it like in a NE? have only been out in the SE's

if the tides back-to-front, it makes getting on the plane trickier, and having to constantly point as far up wind as possible just to stay at your launching spot takes the fun out of it. Works nicely in a north East and a southerly, if u can get it wind-against-tide

As far as safety goes,I think the worst that can happen is getting run over by a boat or water bogans(i think thats tony d's name for jet skiiers?), and as u know there are plenty
