anyone know what seat harness that have high...or higher back support ? I use waist harness with no problem. but back in the day when I used seat harnesses my back would be killing me after a few hours of sailing. (no back support).

I use Dakine XT . Plenty of support. Don't know if it's a current product.

I went from Dakine XT (an older version and the newer ones are probably better) to the Liberty harness. I gave up nothing in terms of power but gained at LEAST 50% more sailing time without worrying about walking around hunched over all week. My back has been injured a lot and is in any case 68 years old. The Liberty is the best windsurfing purchase I've ever made, barring my very first harness back in 1982. You can set it up with a very low hook like a Reflex or XT, or with a waist-high hook just like a waist harness except it won't ride up to your ribcage. It does need the occasional shove to put it where it belongs, and it's fairly heavy. I wish it were compatible with the breakaway spreader bar without modification. Otherwise it's perfect.

That's right, although Starboard offers a Drake version which is similar but without carbon. Just pay attention to their sizing instructions which have more to do with height than girth. I'm 180cm/100kg and the Medium fits perfectly.

I have a Hybrid harness that I really like. It is like a waist harness that one can position right where one wants it and tighten the leg straps too keep it there. I use it for everything now, from Formula to wave, just set the straps a little different when needed.

I use the Drake harness, almost identical to the Liberty as Awalkspoiled pointed out. I wouldn't trade it for any other harness as it is just super comfortable. No more back pain like I sometimes got with waist harnesses (last one was an Ion Curv). For me the best purchase in the last decade. They are fairly large, I have the Large which is their biggest size. 194cm long and 104kg light, sub 100kg definitely M or even S.

Why change, if you use a waist harness with no problems then keep on using it.
I use a Severne CMR, its got a higher hook and higher back support, feels like a waist harness when on but doesn't ride up, which was the problem of using a waist harness as I have previously broken ribs.

Good luck with your quest.

Another massive tick from me for the Drake harness ( or Liberty) Just recovering from a back injury so purchased one......awesome, super supporting, no back pain whatsoever.
