Can anyone recommend a sail between a 6.6 freerace and a 5.0 wave, that would be at home on a freerace board or bump n' jump board depending on the conditions.
All my sailing is on the bay, but I do like bump n' jump once it picks up.

I am thinking about a 5.4 North Duke or x-Type, 5.3 Naish Force or 5.4 NP Alpha or ??
Any thoughts or recommendations.

PS I weigh 80kgs.

I reckon a 5.8 KA Kult, I love mine.

5.3 or 5.4 would be too close to your 5.0 IMO.

ive got a 5.4 duke and its awesom for freesailing and for freestyle, also got the 5.9 which is the same just gets you going earlier, the 5.3 will be good for those 17 knots days

I use a 5.8 Alpha and it's one of my favourite sails. Very tuneable with outhaul, I use it on my small slalom board and my wave board. I think the 5,8 would be a better size for your gap.

I agree with 5.8 ish.

The Alpha is pure wave and not quite as stable for B&J stuff, consider a Firefly for that sorta sailing

thanks, might look at something 5.8 ish then.

Has anyone used an North x-type or Naish Rally (non cammed freeride/freerace) about that size?
