Mate that camera mount dead set makes it look like you've got 2 heads lol. I see you are from Queensland. perhaps you do have 2 heads?

Seriously though I can't believe you have an intact eliminator. I remember when they first came out nothing could touch them for performance. Their performance was matched only by their tendency to disintegrate. One of the most fragile longboards ever made.

You need to get in those beating straps upwind and engage those big rails! Drive that thing it will love you for it.

damn those things were skinny lol.

when i was 95 kg geting in to the beating straps was easy but now im 120 there is to much weight on the rail so i have to stand more in board . you are right about the fragile hull iv spent lots of time repairing the holes and deck areas the boards were built with one layer of chop strand fiberglass and one woven layer it still weight less than 17kgs great board to ride and seems to out perform my speed 250

Friend had an Eliminator many years ago and it was really well known back then as the 'Delaminator'. Same deal witb the super quick Omega slalom board made by Astrasurf - also very fragile.

yeah mine had the same nickname, but we were comparing them to our super strong glass boards i think if i had a crash with my carbon boards the dalamintor would come out on top. a lot of problems on the boards came from the steel staples they used to hold glass in place while the epoxy was applied .i dug them out years ago. i took this board out wave jumping at alva once after watching roby nash loop a race board, it survived.

I had a similar experience with their slalom boards. 4 Astrasurf Wiatatas in 2 years, the buggers kept delaminating on the bottom and they kept replacing them under warranty. Bloody fast and light though compared to the Tyronsea 295 that I came off that sucked in water and held it like a sponge.

That Eliminator looks like fun!
