krikee {is that how ya spell it ?}

if that is where u are {and filmin it } maybe we should ask you how to progress SO quickly !!!!

MANY great suggestions here
however, I have only one small piece of advice

change one thing at a time until satisfied with it and learn what changes to that aspect do

Thanks Kenho - will give this a shot tomorrow. Just got my new adjustable harness lines - decent ones :)

joe windsurf - you are right in saying to keep it simple, will just try and be patient and adjust one thing at a time.... I know if I go out tomorrow and think about straightening my front foot, point my toes to keep the board flat, decreasing outhaul and all that jazz I'll be so preoccupied with thoughts I'll be catapulting into fellow sailors in no time

Lol - whoops - gotcha now.

Just had two pints at lunch just quietly!

If "if that is where u are {and filmin it } maybe we should ask you how to progress SO quickly !!!!" is addressed to me, I'd don't really feel progressed, but am just a mad addict to this sport and can't stop thinking about it.

I even sit on the train and close my eyes and visualize being on my board, where my hands and feet are, and go through the motions mentally of what I am trying to learn.

I really want to gybe planning, and once I have got my rig worked out, will be working hard on that - for me that will open up more doors and eventually lead to bump and jump on the bay here - well that is the plan!

Last year I purchased the Cribb Sheet with the piece of elastic with the little black dot. I placed the harness lines where the black dot advised. I found I could not get comfortable with the lines in this position.

All the pressure was on my front arm and if I let go with the front hand the sail would fall to leewards. So I moved the lines a fair bit forward and it was better. Even so my back hand was infront of my back harness line.

Any ideas as a friend has said I have my lines too far forward? Last sail I had I moved the boom up a fair way so its about nose high. That felt good but I also moved the mast base back too.

I think my lines are about 71 cms.

For cribby's stuff to work I think you need to rake the rig forward a bit and then sheet in..( not just rake it back)
I was using it for a while and I think it was better but i think I've gone back to my old ways due to finding the balance point by putting the rig up in the wind on shore to check.With the rig upright see where you can hold the boom with one hand & balance it ..thats the centre of the harness liness..
I'll have to redo it to Cribby's specs & see how i go again.
