north natural sail mast

just wanted to know if anyone knows what what sort of masts i could use on a 6.6m north natural sail and does it have to be the north brand or can it be any brand

You will be looking at constant curve , HAve a look at the IMCS which should be written on the sail . And match that . Personally I have North sails with North masts and would sacrifice carbon content ( for Budget ) first prior to buying an alternative mast ie chinnook powerex fibrespar with an increased carbon fibre count. Hope that helps .

so the imcs is the amount of curve and thats all that realy matters

No IMCS is the stiffness.
You want same curve also and IMCS does not tell you that.

Pretty sure they are constant curve so with respect to curve any middle of the road mast should work. (Look for that cross-referencing table posted here)
