well, the wind has been a bit fickle on the goldy lately, so being a bit bored, I thought id try something new, I looked out my window to see the ole faithful dog sitting at my office door, he happens to be a Husky. So I thought to myself, mmmmm, Huskies love to pull on the lead, thats all I needed, straight to the beach where there is a sweet 1.5km of smooth concrete footpath, had the dog, his lead and my skateboard packed in the car!

Awesome! did 3km's of swooshing back and forth across the footpath doing some sweet slalom moves all the way! That dog sure loves to run!

Now here is the added benefit, girls love Huskies!

Ill post some pics next time I go

heres a pic of said pooch www.seabreeze.com.au/gallery/gallery.asp?imageid=3304

Did the same thing years ago with my lab. Dragged me for about 3km she was always looking around with a goofy grin she gets when shes happy..
next day thought we would do another run.. hooked up her chest harness, tied on the rope and she just sat on her arse and looked at me with contempt .. never done it since

Im buying a harness tommorrow, betcha he will roost then!

I saw on tv they do Husky races in forests up here in qld during winter, they use an off road scooter! Tie up 3-4 dogs! lol

you just cant run them when its hot, yesterday was overcast and low 20's, with a 5-10kn onshore seabreeze late arvo.

That is one nice looking dog, I can understand him being a chick magnet!!!

I used to have a husky/chow cross, great dog but didn't look any where as nice as yours.

Husky is actually a job not breed of dog. If you had a corgy that liked to pull things around that would be a husky, only learnt this myself a couple of months ago.
