Great stuff !! Can you post a picture of how you hooked the drill up to the scooter wheel or is that a trade secret ?

new update on my board, i just had a look at it and there was a string of salt crystals about one cm long and 1 mm thick, i thought the crystals would form on the out side surface but it was sticking out of the board, unfortunaly crawf touched it befor i took a photo and it snaped off, so i am hoping that i get a new string so i can post an image,

That's an impressive bit of ad hockery. There aught to be some sort of award for that - an Elmo perhaps, or a title like Knight of the Venerable Order of Heath Robinsonism, (KVOHR). Yep, Jordo, you can add those letters after your name if you like and when people say "What does KVOHR mean?" you can say "Mind your own business" while looking important.

Not bad!!

Did you consider having the board upside down when rotating? Seems to me it would help going with gravity when trying to get water out of the nose. Or is the hole in the tail on the bottom of the board?

Hey, you doing engineering science at school? Bet you're up at the top of the class

nebian the water is completly at the tail so i didnt think that having it upside down would work, and no im not doing any engineering or sience because i suck at math and sciences, besides fisics but i hate it so no,. that answers both questions, but i am doing digital design wich kinda interprates engineering

well today after about 4 hours of running flat out the manual drill broke (wich is used to make the gear ratio) so it was a simple repair but 10 minutes after that the bit of wood wich is used to conect the drill to the scooter broke so now we need to make a new fitting and we havent got anything to use, , so hoping that we will find somthing because i think we are at the last of the water

after 3 days of spinning i have succesfully got all the water from the board, it wieghs a perfect 7.3 kilos and i am very happy, so all i need to do is sand down the board, patch all the holes and cracks, paint it up with my custom design and buy a fin and all the straps and pads, and than i will be able to use it,. i am posting images now of the spinner the board, and all things inbetween but thanks to my slow interent speed it should be done by 7.30 tonight, if you want any more photos or close up of the invention PM me and i will be more than happy to post of send them to you,

Hi Jord, if your asking why I'm asking I think for a young fella, you have done well with your spinner, that's all mate.
Sounds like you have the finishing bits with the board all worked out, something to be proud of when done.

Yeah Jordo, Top effort. My boys are your age and the only spinny thing they made involved a big tube, a KX125, the fence and the biggest cane toads we could find. Oops, I mean THEY could find.
