Have been scouting around for a MFC dealer in the past week but most appear to be offshore. Try a Google search then email shops to find out if they ship to OZ and how much they charge for shipping. Try Big Winds, Gorge Surf Shop, Pritchard Windsurfing etc.

Watercooled Sports in Dunedin NZ, they will ship out to you. With the exchange rate it works out not too bad.

Bought direct from Pio from Maui, a set of Quads were around $300 Aud with freight, just look up MFC site, this was a year ago, PS type in Maui Fin Company in your search

RPS in Elwood Vic definitely used to stock MFC. I got a couple probably 18mths ago with a few boards that i got. Not sure if they still do or whether they'd have the model you're after.

Just got an email back from Geoff at Watercooled NZ re purchasing some MFC fins:

We are the importers for M.F.C in New Zealand.

The Liquid Pro in Power box available in the sizes you were askng for, but we don't stock the weed fin.

Freight based on 2 fins packaged will be around $20 NZD for 3-10 day service. Each Liquid pro fin will be $195 NZD. This is with NZ G.S.T removed for export.

$195 NZD works out to around $168 AUD with current exchange rate, which I reckon is pretty good. The best resent USD price I could find for a liquid pro was $149 which is around $163 AUD (pretty sure the shipping cost from NZ would be less than from US). Last OZ price I got a couple of years ago for the liquid pros was around $230 from Windshack in Perth (asked the shop owner why they were so costly compared to other freeride or freerace fins like Choco or Flying Objects fins, etc and he told me to go shop elsewhere!).

Anyone know who's the OZ distributor for MFC?

Hey Gestalt, If you find a good deal on the MFC fin you're looking for can you post details in this topic?

they were the only ones that had what I was chasing. I changed my mind half way through the deal and opted for a 36cm freewave, (vectran)

Re my MFC purchases, haven't done the deal to get an MFC liquid pro as yet but SHQ's price of $210 AU + $12 shipping looks ok, though have got a used MFC weedburner 29 on the way from windspirit-direct in Canada at present which will work out to approx $131 AU shipped (thanks for the tip pepe47!).
