Hey All ,
I had my first lesson last week and had the best time , was able to get around , and am hooked and looking for some advice ?

Should I have more lessons until I am more competent or should I buy a board ? There is a board for sale on this site a starboard 170 L , I am 180 cm and 82 kg am fairly fit and would be sailing on the gold coast winds varying to 20 kts and in the flat broad water any advice would be appreciated . Cheers

Glad you're having a great time. It only gets better from here. I would take some more lessons, just to get your basics down. Then buy a board.

Post this in the Qld section as well as there is a supportive group of beginners / improvers who can give their experiences.

That is a perfect board though, for after a couple of lessons
