So after 25 years not sailing, kids are older, decided to get back into the sport. instead of going the easy route decided to build a board or two..
This first one is 105L bump and jump/ wave board
Quite flat rocker with vee all the way through
Construction 28kgm3 Eps with a mixture of basalt/innegra, sglass and eglass cloths
I should of took more pictures of the shaping - I will for the next one . instead of pvc foam we made up an expandable foam we use here for repairs and its strong easy to shape, white, closed cell and as light as pvc - we used it for the finboxes, foam sandwich and all deck inserts.

anti slip deck is an acrylic dust we sell -works really well for this application

Looks epic ![]()
I tried to find the anti slip on your website and couldn't see it. Can you direct me with a link
Great job!!!
But I'm a little concerned about the flatish deck at the back. Last time I had a flat deck at the back it killed my ankles.

Coming from wave boards of the early 90's so everything was flat then, have tested it out and was pretty comfortable on the ankles.. was pretty out of breath though.. different muscles used for surfing compared to windsurfing so was sucking in the breaths between runs!
Looks real nice , great finish
Thanks was pretty happy with the finish and weight, hand lam'ed with heavier foam and still came out around 6.5kg
That's good to know!
There's no way to get windsurfing except by windsurfing, and as you get older this fitness drops off quicker, and takes longer to get back. I'm going to have to sail as much through Winter as I can, so I'm ready for next season.
