Is there a formula/rule of thumb in comparing twin fin equivalents so single fin in size?
I have just bought a 82 litre twin fin with 2 (obviously) 16.5cm fins, they look tiny but there is two.
If it were a single fin my thoughts would be 24/5cm.
My weight is 95 kgs, will mainly use board with 4.7 in 25+kn.
Have a tendency I think to like bigger fins, sail my 90ltr starboard carve with a 28cm fin (5.4 & 6.4 sails)

The fin area is bigger with the twin so those two 16.5's are about right or even maybe large-ish on an 82L (certainly would not be overly loose)

Don't know about any equivalency formula for single vs twin
