I used to be able to do good jumps but have trouble getting airborne these days. Some of that is due to lack of wind & fitness but I have noticed that I push with my rear foot to pop the board out..? but then push down on the boom..( a habit Ive got into ).Wouldnt that stop the board getting airborne?
some Tips: try putting your boom higher, and try moving the universal foot back abit, pass the centre line of the universal track. It gets the board floating higher, cause it creats more lift under the board, it worked for me, but the trade off is my jibing seem to be a little more tricky..
And when you jump, try to stay straight and sail on the same path.. When you try to jump to hard, and dont aim any where once your in the air, i find you end up spinning your back foot out on a upwind angle, i had a real bad habbit of this..
Another thing too.. a you jumping with duel foot straps at the back on your tabou?? cause i cant jump with wide duel foot straps at all.. some people can, but i find them to hard for jumping, maybe try one day changing to a single foot strap set-up on your tabou, and see if it's easier..
