I had a great day sailing yesterday on my annual holiday at a place called Denham ,nor west Oz ,shark bay .
most days we have been doing 3 sailing sessions a day ,and the wind came up to 26-29 knots ,i don't have a too many small sails ,but it was a treat to go out on my 2008 north natural 5,0 and do over 35 knots (65.42 kms)
I just brought this second hand 93 Patrik ,off buz in gero on the way up ,it was a still a bit lumpy ,hope to go better
but pretty happy to finally get over 35 knots ,my fastest very![]()

Gday Dude! You got your goal in the first week. Awesome!! Just looking at harness lines. Is that front hand heavy?
I Know mate ...surprised me too watching the vid ,but i was running right off the wind ,and thats what felt normal and safe .
when running back up wind ,hands went back to equal spacing .
We did have a few , lighter wind days 14-18 knots so pack a 7.0 if your coming up here , I had 116 manta which worked a treat , 8 days of sailing everyday, averaged 6 hours a day , sore visited the hot pools , just 15 minutes drive away to sooth the body

We saw Dugongs, turtles, manta rays and a couple of small sharks ,
Emus are tame and swim up here

Just watch out whilst eating your lunch, they'll eat it for you given the oppurtunity.![]()
