Hi all,
How does one carry a water bottle, banana, and iPhone (in sealed pouch) while onboard an LT?
Im guessing they'd all have to go in my life vest. When canoeing, I strap on to my canoe a watertight tupperware container and it works great on that.
Any suggestions welcome!
Cheers,
Snapperfish.

I am surprised that no one has answered your question yet. Personally, I may think about using a camelback for the water and one of those special waterproof bags (Paqua) for the phone. Not sure about the banana, but I would not put it with the phone just in case I lost the phone overboard in my attempt to get at the banana.
I recently bought the Vaikobi V3 PFD for using while racing the LT. It has a camelback pocket in the back and 2 zip pockets in the front. They would take an iPhone in a case but not sure about a banana ![]()

I use a NeilPryde Floatation Vest with a Source Reservoir (3 L) to carry water. I have my key in a waterproof keypocket called KEYFENDER in the frontzip of the vest. Normally I don't carry my iPhone on a lake with me but I have also a waterproof phonebag, which can be fixed on the upper arm with a strap. This feels a little bit uncomfortable for me.
I will try another solution when my new LT arrives and report back.
Just the first link I clicked I'm sure there are others.

I'm sure this could be adapted somehow

Maybe I'm missing something but how far away from the water do you park your car? Or are you sailing kms out to sea?
Hi all,
Nice to see these suggestions! Thank you!
For my LT, I have just bought an ankle leash for use when SUPing. The LT has a little eyelet / anchor point on the stern for exactly this purpose. One could possibly use this eyelet to lash down a banana. A bit of string and a loop of velcro would be all that is required, i think. I'll give it a go and report back. Just have to wait for this large rain event to clear out of Sydney....

PS: I use a modified kayak trolley to transport my LT a short distance to the beach. Down side is that I don't have a car to use as a beachside locker.... I like the idea of doing some longer trips (10km+ one way), hence my interest in carrying a few provisions with me on the LT for when I get hungry / thirsty.
Honestly go for the Vaikobi, has large pocket in back for hydration pack, 2 pockets on the front, plus it's a pfd in a bright colour
Here's a pic of the NineFour Cruise Missile (prototype) coming soon from WindTech. Shows the prototype with the recess you can store banana's, water bottles etc. Boards being ordered from production this week.
Coles have a surprisingly good pouch on special - perfect for an iPhone at the moment for $4.50! I bought a few and keep my phone in one whilst at work in the dust etc etc. I also have pelican marine case for the phone itself so its double protected. My last pouch I bought for my GPS was a mystic one that was rubbish and split on impact from a catapult drowning my GPS. Water in an NP blade that fits directly to the NP impact / flotation vest. Banana ....hummmm
you could add a nail clipping device, red cross emergency kit, screwdrivers, vitamins, knife, anti-shark device, rope, sunscreen, spare batten, spare fin, dried emergency rations....

You could fit all that and more on this guy's windsurfer.....
