Since covid is making it difficult to sail, now's a good time to dust off your collection of windsurfing gear and show us.
I have a couple of collections, but my favourite is my collection of super light wind boards , ie d2s and a serenity.

The photo shows, serenity, lechner , mistral m1, eliminator , and the tiga race.

The lechner is the best all round board.
The serenity is the fastest up to 5 knots.
The eliminator is like a little dingy , with wave piercing nose. The m1 is similar to the lechner but with slightly more curves. The tiga has a very flat rocker line.

What other collections are out there???

That Starboard is an interesting thing . Is it a modified downwind racing SUP ?
Do you need 500m area and a cut lunch to do a U turn ?
Id think it would be a light wind weapon if you were light .
It looks wobbly .
I would love a go .

It's a windsurfer.
It's very wobbly to gybe.
Over 12 knots it's very difficult to go off the breeze.

But at around 2 to 8 knots , it's my go to board.

Problem is .... You really don't want to be caught upwind if it goes to 12knots plus.... at 15 knots it can be nearly impossible to go down wind.

Something like the lechner is much better with retractable cb and sliding track

Antman did have one of the best collections of Mistrals. It included the one from the 90s which you could change the tail to make it a speed board .

I think it we gave Sail Quick a free month he might be able to post a selection.

Haven't seen an Eliminator since 1989/1990 !!!!!!!
Pretty sure they had some good raceboards late 80's & 90's. Who made them?

the displacement eliminator was not by the same manufacturer Astro Surf who did the later slalom boards and race boards.

At Gosford NSW we also have a collection of past Olympic Boards. In fact we have Two of each between us , and have done mini Olympic board comparisons and relays. (unfortunately all the Olympic boards have limitations, but they are fun to compare)
Windglider
Lechner
Mistral imco
RSX

I sail with Heavy1 in Gosford and his collection of boards is the best I know of. We have had loads of fun trying the different boards against each other over the years
That's a nice collection you have as well. I only rode one of those Silver Speed Raceboards back in the day and it was quick. That's one I'd love to include in my collection one day.

Yep the BIG RBs are a different thing. Lotsa footstraps to confuse the shortboarder. Takes a bit of skill to pilot one to over 26kts.
