I thought this was gonna be a foil.

Here you go it is easily fixed with the Laser sail, hull and foil. Enjoy.

The bamboo probably works just as well as the $3000 jobs and if blind folded the average Joe wouldn't know the difference.
But bamboo is a bit too much of an advance for the old LT, and will be frowned and scoffed at by a true LT fanatic.

might also need those foot stirrups to help the rider control the extra power of that rig

Windsurfer Italian Nationals......the class has reinvented the past to build a bright new future with a friendly and inclusive sailing class, 50% fun, 50% racing. One LT sailor in a moment of frivolity even added his modern 5.7m2 LT powerhead 3 batten rig to a door like board with a foil and managed to sail around no problems. No circa 1970 Laser pinhead sails with aluminium masts anywhere to be found.

Its missing a $2500 foil and $3000 boom. That would really make it sailable
