The first of the races of the NLSC Windsurfer Class Sunday Cup Series took place yesterday in blustery conditions on Narrabeen Lakes. The racing was made more challenging by the mixed fleet racing with the Windsurfers starting with the Lasers. It was quite a spectacle in the gusty conditions, with the boat traffic and wakes to ride and is best summed up with Rod's headcam vid

The second set of Sunday races will be in a fortnight so check out windsurferclass.wordpress.com/events/ for more details or Contact the Class Captain Roger at NLSC.

Weekly Windsurfer Class racing is on Saturdays at Narrabeen Lakes Sailing Club and is a separate competition (Club membership entitles you to race in either or both).

Id just like to say thanks for once for not putting the race course right in the middle of where us slalom/speed/free ride sailors have our fun.
It was really nice to see you guys battling it out upwind of where we do our runs. Made for a fun day on the water for the first of hopefully many nor-easters of the season. Thanks.
