Hello everyone.
I have recently bought a second hand windsurfer set. The 6.0 gaastra remedy sail has 2 broken battens (3rd from bottom & 4th from bottom). Does anyone know where I can get new ones???

Thanks in advance!

I got them from my local shop, the recycled battens from old sails.

I was joking when I asked if I could trade in the battens from a ruined sail, but the shop, WSS in Sydney, gave me a $50 discount on the new one.

All sail repairers and most windsurf shops would have a good supply of used battens from old sails.

Unsure of your location? In WA would see Jesper at Sail Repair WA (he sells new and used battens) or Windsurfing Perth (who are Gaastra/GA dealers) or Revolution Board Sports (I called around these shops looking for some tube battens last year and got some from Jesper). If you're on East Coast then suggest getting in touch with a Gaastra/GA dealer and they would likely help you out.

Of course you all assume Toby's in Aus. This is now an International forum, Google "windsurf forums" in England and seabreeze will be around the top of the list.

Toby, we really need to know where you are
