Hello everybody!

My name is Christian Fikus, 30 years young from Germany! Actually I am in Perth to find a longer stay job as water sport instructor for the upcoming season or to give private lessons in WA. I have been in Australia for 9 months.

My previous water sport experience was gained working as an instructor for windsurfing and catamaran sailing and as a deputy head for Robinson Club water sport center in Greece for 5 years. I also worked 3 months for a water sport center in Germany. While working there I gained experience with implementation, planning and staffing of the week at the station, line station at the absence of the head, contact for all guests at the water sport base, take care, maintenance and upkeep of the entire material, issue of catamaran and windsurf lessons for beginners and advanced under VDWS guidelines.

In Australia I worked as an instructor for The Zu Boardsports and as an instore seller for SHQ Boardsports in Melbourne. Next to that I worked as an assistant for the Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron. I also do some wwoofing and worked on a macadamia farm close to Byron Bay and have experience helping with general labour work and maintenance.

I am willing to earn new skills in addition to the experience I already have. I have my own campervan to move on! I have a taxfilenumber, an Australian bank account, good insurance, all the papers with me and my drivers license and I am very reliable and fit.

I want to stay for a longer period in one place so I can have a better feeling of the real Ozzielife at the ocean. Up for anything, good and social quiet people who are here to work and to have a good time!

Here are some impressions about my work in Greece!

We can take all the windsurfing instructors that want to come here. Although they don't seem to be on the skilled occupation list, so I recommend coming in as a 'boiler maker' and then sailing to your hearts content.

Surely burquas are better. They must have an SPF of 1000.
