Hi JJ,
Unfortunately, that is the last issue. If you read the editorial it's actually written by Mark, the owner of Windsurf.
JC is going to keep the website live.
It's a shame.

From what I can see the only monthly windsurf Magazine left is the German "Surf Magazin".
Surf Magazin used to do 45,000 print copies a month about 10 years ago... doesn't look like they still make numbers freely available unless you advertise with them. I think they can still make it works because they are part of a publishing house that specialises in sports publications, Germany is a relatively big market for windsurfing and magazines are stocked in a large variety of places outside of Newsagents. That said those numbers across the industry have been shrinking between 4 and 9% year on year.
There is still www.planchemag.fr/ toujours frais comme une bonne baguette
also www.dailydose.de/index.htm refusing to die
I think the plan is to keep the Windsurf mag website active, and it's just the print version that has gone.
If you check out www.windsurf.co.uk , you'll find a lot of new articles, published in the last few days.

Thanks for finding the French Mag. The URL I had for them didn't work so I assumed the mag was defunct. I stand corrected.
RE Dailydose there is also Stehsegelrevue.com but that's mainly a pic of the day site now.
There used to be a really good German Mag called "Surfer". It was more like a life style mag along the lines of monsterchildren.com but instead of skateboarding, design, art, photography, surf it focus on water sports including wind sports.

yeah germany has (had) a hugggee market for magazines. I have no idea why. Every supermarket would sell like 20 different computer magazines etc. I think Germans love reading this stuff over their 4h weekend breakfast....
Can't imagine that the market is too big anymore but a lot of magazines have moved to online reading with payed extra subscriptions which are relatively popular in germany still. My relatives have a few subscriptions. Opinionated press is a big part of german reading culture and dinnertable discussions...
