Hi Brendan! I must say I saw some video of one of the starboard race boards and it looked, well, fast.
This is more of a curiosity thing as I've found that when there's wind in Sydney there's wind. Half the time I've used a 4.7 i've been overpowered. Just to be clear *when* there's wind.

The trouble with high aspect sails, is their leverage over the rider. That's the problem with windsurfers, if the power is too far above the boom you can't hang onto it.
A 1988 ish NP RAF Speed - the one Fred Haywood used - was about the highest ever. :)
I had one of these in 5.4 size. Love to see one again
