Where is the best place to buy good quality PVC , ( Divinycell ) , In QLD if not then NSW ?
I'm after 3mm . The stuff I can get is porous and crumbly . I used to get it in Vic but they don't sell it anymore .
I have sent samples to a couple places in QLD , they say its similar , but its not ! The good stuff is almost shiny compared , denser , tougher and way less porous . In hand laminating it makes a big difference in the amount of resin it sucks in .
Contact Gurit in Luscombe, a good knowledge base to talk about what you might be after.

Thanks Brent.
I called them , they have a couple options for me , very helpful.
2 options in 3mm , 80kg . One can be rolled up for transport the other has to be flat .
I'm presuming the stiffer flat would be better ??? Or would it not matter once sandwiched . The softer would be better for going around edges . I wouldn't think it would matter so much because there is not much strength in core material , its just there to separate laminating layers . Any board builders used both kinds . ?
When they say one can be rolled they probably mean corecell as it is capable of bending further before fracturing. I prefer it to older style PVC's for that reason. (It's not PVC)
I'd pick corecell any day. It's so easy to bend, even better when heat formed
what do u mean by porous? None should suck resin. do u just mean it's rough so lots of little divots to fill? can always sand it - but wet out glass on table then transfer to board and vac bag saves all that extra resin - quite a lot
Yes the last I used had lots of bubble holes. I could blow some air through it ,pushed up to my lips
. It was not the perforated stuff. It was crumbly crappy stuff . Rub your hand over it and has dust on it
Must have been a lighter weight. The good stuff is smooth and barely doesn't soak any resin.
