Hi Guys,

I'm new to this forum. So I'll introduce myself. I'm Paris and I mainly surf in the Netherlands.

I recently required a new (second hand) board. A Starboard Formula 159.

The board is 159L, 227cm long and 100cm wide.

My question:

I don't know what fin to buy for it. I can't use the standard 70 cm fin because where I surf it's quite shallow.

So I was looking for a 48 cm fin but someone said that length doesnt work for this board.

Is that true?

Can anyone tell me what (length of) find I CAN use?

thanks a bunch!

Paris

Try a weed fin, same surface area but less depth due to the rake.
