What's the difference between a Shaka and a Shifty?

Seems like the same move too me.
An upwind 360.
Shaka = some spin on the water
Shifty = all in the air
Do I have this right?

In the Shaka you keep the mast more horizontal when you spin while in the shifty you tilt the mast towards vertical and push the crew thru causing an abrupt rotation similar to a push loop.
