Chasing a bit of advice
IM getting ready for the coming season and looking forward to getting back out there .
This will be my third season and im looking at upgrading my sails.
I currently use three sails being EZZY wave sails 5.4 , 5.8 and a Tushington 6.6 all would be around 20 years old
I would like No cam sails
5.5 , 6.5 7.5 or there abouts . I sail in the Mandurah Estuary , so a bit of wind chop 12- 25 knots
Boards I have are starboard 130lt and 110Lt
What brand and or type of sails would you recommend
DO I go for wave sails and / or freeride and what brand ?
Any advice is appreciated

Ezzy Cheetah or Lions, if 25knts is your limit then don't even worry about the 5.5....but from my experience it gets plenty windier than 25knts in WA!,so good choice if you want to go out on the big days.

All of the sail brands make no cam racey sails the are easy to rig, great wind range and user friendly and any of then will blow your mind vs the sails that you have been using.

Go work out what those sails are and find the ones that are available now to see what its gonna cost you.
NP Hellcats (7 Batten) & Ryde (6 Batten)
Severne NCX (7 Batten)
North/Duotone S & E types
Ezzy Cheeta & Lion

etc.

Some great offers on if you go and search, new & second hand. You may need a matching mast too. Some offer one mast boom for the entire range of sizes (NP Ryde & Fusion)

Happy shopping

Do you know the mast's brand/model/year ?. This is important to know so you are able to match a compatible sail. If you are buying a matching new mast with the sail, then that makes things easy.

OK so the 400 is North and fairly recent - it should do for your smaller sails for sure, if you stick to North and compatible sails.

That's good as it is pretty constant curve so as long as you stay away from extreme soft top (Pryde, Tush) and hardtop (Gaastra/Maui etc) you should be sweet. 3-4 yo North wave sails would be cheap and just fine on that. Then larger sizes, newer sail and mast.

Pics of the 430? somebody will know

Hi HENDO 77, I've wrote a review on Sailworks Huckers in the gear reviews section. Check it out as I think they could be suitable sails for what you're looking for.
Cheers, Kai.
