OK, I've taken data from BOM, Gold Coast Seaway.
Used the 'Other Formats', 'Other Times & Places' links:

I used the wind speed as of 3pm and collaborated into these pretty graphs. No real surprises except the average Westerly at 18 knots. I was looking for a hole around the 5.7m sail range, didn't find:







I've got the raw data here if anyone wants to re-use it
(Some formulas didn't upload by looks of it and are missing)
