What a great surprise, worth reading for all those interested in speedsailing, apparently it is blowing 40 to 45kts in Luderitz Namibia atm, with Antonie lined up and ready to go?

It's 1/4 and wunderground shows only 20km/h for Luderitz!?

david Garrel has done 48 knots, and they are just trying to confirm that AA has done a 49kt 500m, so must be more than 20 kts.

If it is, that's the best one I've seen in a long time...
Anyway, Albeau folded his 4.8 with the mast inside to go faster with his 4.6... 49.82kts, that's fast I think!!

Yes just checked wind graphs for Namibia, and not a lot of wind, the seabreeze doesn't blow 50 to 55kts which is what they are calling, well had me sucked in for 10 mins.

Too good to be true, didn't think Philou from Windsurfjournal would do it to us...
Will have to wait and see tomorrow morning now.

I hope its true, but such a shame it is at the end of April fool day for me. The amount of times Uncle Frank sucked me in today. I was so sad today, when Uncle frank told me I was his child, he said I was the son of him and Aunty Angela, really upset me. Especially as Aunt Angela is really old. Not getting sucked in again today.

See

April fool !!!
Much more than a simple kid’s joke, the April fool gag is omnipresent in the media, press, radio, television and internet, everyone likes to have a go once a year with the most outrageous lies appearing in the name of having a laugh… Faithful to those traditions, here at Windsurfjournal.com we couldn’t let the day pass without having a good laugh ourselves !
As you will no doubt have already understood, we never set foot in Namibia with our mates Antoine Albeau and David Garrel for the Namibia Masters of Speed Quiksilver, which never existed !!!
