Anyone selling a 145 xcite ride ?
Id like one ![]()
Really??!! ![]()
Why? ![]()
Cos I have a 160 which is good for light days and I like it . A bit smaller one sounds good to me . It would compliment ( feed ) my unhealthy board collection , oh and I could squeeze a race board in also.
Do I need help or is this normal ?
Also how many fins is one allowed before being committed ![]()
Yep I've got too many
..I've just bought another big board and trying to come to terms with selling my existing favourite big board...![]()
You could get a 137 litre JP sports ,that would kill two birds with one stone .
fins ,at least 6.

imax i use a 158 exite as a light wind big sail floater and then jump to a supper sport 136 l. when the wind is up.the supper sport handles a lot better than the exite in strong winds. the exite can slam the breaks on if you get to much weight forward and will catapult you .i dont know if the plus versions do this but the supper sport does not do this.
Dunno about the Magic Ride its nowhere near as good as a Starship ![]()

I reckon these wide and thin freemoves don't have the range, I chose an E-xite Ride over the Magic Ride for that reason.
IMHO as a sh!t freerider.......
I actually have two xcite ride 160 , one the plus version, got it cheap. I like the older one. The newer one is 20 cm shorter and the same width but it is thicker and I don't like it as much. I also have a 90 wide starboard go and it doesn't plane any easier than the 79 wide xcite ride , ( although the winged fin I made for the starboard makes it the earliest planer but that's another story ). I don't think super wide is the go. I'm heavy and 80 is as fat as I want to go. So a little smaller 75 - 76 wide longer board would be good like the xcite ride 145 ???
Understood max.
and don't blame you for wanting a narrower board .
i have a 84' and a 69 in my larger boards .....much prefer the 69 ,,,feels livelier .
and better in short chop .

I have an XCite Ride 145. It is the Family version (full wood sandwich with foam deck). It has multiple placements for foot straps, so is suitable for beginners upwards. I started using a 5.7 Firefly sail, but now use a 7.2 H2 mostly with it. Works best with a 38cm fin, because the standard 48cm tends to make you tailwalk when you are in moderate conditions. I mostly use this board now for when it gets really light, or I want to simply play with a different toy. My body weight last summer was 70 kg, and I found that this is just light enough for me to do light weather sailing on my 107 L board. Still loath to get rid of the 145 though.
