: I met this dude....and he wants to have a party at Windshack!
A week ago I went into Windshack just to see what was happening and see about some new gear and what I needed, I rang ahead to make sure that it was all good to be rocking up and Alberto said that it's a bit hard and that it will have to be pretty spot on with timing because he had to go to the airport to pick up a friend, any way I rocked up to the shop and Alberto ask me if I could help his mate to put some ding stick on his board and help him with some screws and footstraps.(Sweet boards, custom Quatro twinfins ) I didn't really know who he was, we got talking for a bit, and he knew a lot about the sport and I could tell he wasn't just some guy who could sail. At this point I was about to leave and head down for a sail, and it was suggested that I should get a picture with him to put in the trophy room, at first I said no but I soon realised I probably should. So we went out the front of Windshack and in the nice 35degree heat we got a pic and it turned out like this.
Alberto and Levi left me the duties to organize this party right, so I'm calling for Saturday the 9th of FEB starting from 4 pm till dark at Windshack. BYO, music, videos (including The Windsurfing Movie) and nibbles provided Windshack style.
Levi (now I know who he is :)) will explain the characteristic of the twinfins and why Quatro is became the choice of pro windsurfers.
