Hi there,

We want some other young couples/singles to come sailing with us in the Med!

We're a 23 year old couple from Cottesloe in WA. We are chartering a brand new Bavaria 45 out of Turkey (Bodrum) from the 19th-26th July 2014. It is a 4 x double cabin yacht. So far we have myself (Tom), my girlfriend Chloe and our friend Simon (26yo).

The price would be roughly $675pp for the week, + food and booze etc. (We like to drink)

I am an experienced yachtie, with hundreds of hours of sea time under my belt. You dont have to be into sailing, just let me do all the work!

We plan to sail up the coast of Turkey, and visit some Greek islands. It will be an amazing experince.

If you are a young couple, from anywhere in Australia, keen to make new friends and live a bit luxuriously, please facebook me or email me with your interests.

My facebook name is Tom Lovelady. (have a stalk)

Looking forward to hearing from someone! Anyone?

CHECK OUT THE YACHT FOR YOURSELF:

Cheers, Tom.

Sounds like the start of a good b-grade thriller movie!

...or do we bring along our keys for the bowl?

Come on people- be honest. We'd all be prepared to give up a bit of reproductive anatomy to go cruising on a Bavaria 45 in the Mediterranean, as long as we could be young again and take some kit.

What is the average age of windsurfers now. In 2003 on Maui it was 47yo.

Actually guys, Simon is a very good mate of mine and tom is a really fun guy.
If I could I'd be with them in a heartbeat!!

Why does everyone have to be a bunch of dick on this forum all the time???

Ok. Rereading my post it did come across a bit tactless.Sorry.
At a quick read it just seemed like a spam post and the reference to alcohol seemed a bit unusual. Not knowing the guy it was easy to draw the wrong conclusion. Hope they find some compatible couples.

Single digit post count, name like 'Tomlovers' and looking for a couple you've never met to share a boat trip.
Sounds like a wind-up or sus.
Contrast: 100 or so posts in wind/kite/surfing forum, username like 'Tom' and then asking for travel companions makes it sound more genuine.

I am surprised at the lack of ribbing (no pun intended)

Of course I am pessimistic I'm told so I am sorry and it's nice to hear it is genuine. Swap Simon for a Simone and I'm in...

If you read his post its actually "Tom lovelady". Not TomLovers! So no need for further ribbing

I stand by my initial response!

If it makes a difference - I'd be there in a heartbeat too.
