Hi all. Any suggestions for windsurfing lessons/schools in Vietnam (for beginners). I have seen a few in Mui Ne, but would appreciate any recommendations. We are thinking of going in October 2017. Thanks in advance ??

Hello Sleepyelf. We were in Mui Ne in April 2016, at the end of the windy season, I hired some gear from Full Moon Beach Severne & Starboard manage to sail on 3 days but it was hard work, from launching between concert walls to the rough sea state, would not recommend it for beginners. There is another hire shop about 3ks West and they had JP and Neil Pride, also a beach and it looked sheltered, it might be a better place for you. Further West is the second of the full moon beach resorts this might be a better option for beginners as well. Vietnam is lovely tourist place but the windsurfing is average.

Heard good things (but never been there!) about surf4you.ru .
JP boards, own brand sails, nice hotel, easy launch. Now go there and report back (had I known there would be so little wind over the Xmas break, I would have gone there.)
