Managed to capture some good footage of the action at Gearies on Tuesday.
Check it out on You Tube - it's about a 4 min video. Here's the link:
Nice one Diggers, great footage, you said you would put a link up here, been waiting and it was worth the wait. Brings back memories of the day and sums the day up nicely. More more more !
Thanks for all the positive feedback. It's all about sharing the experience eh? Bring on the next front.
Well done guys, was amazed on the day watching Corey doing a couple of sail flips whilst riding the waves.
Nicely done
Corey has told me that 'clew-first' riding is the closest a sailor can get to the surfing of waves.
Some kiters may beg to differ.
Unbelievable sailing. I didn't think that sort of stuff was possible in the waves!
btw what's with "w@nktheboom studios"?

Have a great holiday
Adios
Good news re board Gazza. too cold? isn't it the middle of summer over there? harden the f4ck up and go windsurfing !
Nice one diggers - felt like i was there!
I Thought you got some pretty reasonable quality out of the crappy youtube compression too.
Good old gearies.
Rate the rig flip and go technique of Coreys - have used it myself quite a bit at Scarbs and it definitley does give you some extra drive and a few more degrees of vert into the topturn before the good old back wind effect kicks in.
I reckon if Corey had hung on to that big un he would have made it for sure !
Nice old school carving 360 using the wave from Mr Severne on there too.
I lIKED the music alot!
Hip hip! Chin chin!
i'm in the middle of editing up all the starboard and Severne Video shoot 2008 footage (plenty o good stunts in there! ) - its good to drop in to seabreeze to see what everyone has been up to ( during my effect renders! )
very cool! can i ask wat movie making computer program you used? i tryed making a movie with windows movie maker... it was to difficult and not user friendly for me?![]()
Hey Demons Taipan
The program I use is Adobe Premier Elements. As a relative newcomer to video editing, I've found it really intuitive and simple to use. It also has a good range of tools and effects you can use, without being overwhelming. At this stage, I'm only limited by my imagination. Pretty reasonable price too. Can't go wrong.
Diggers
The backies are by Ben Severne - I put in the clean ones - there were a few great stacks as well - stay tuned for the longer version of the vid to see these!
