Has anyone fitted the adjustable outhaul v-cleats to a v-grip boom?
Just wondering if they fit on the v profile ok? Seeing they are made for a round profile.

Hi Ken,
yep, they do fit...I ran an adjustable outhaul on my v grip by gluing a strip of 1mm thick black rubber on each side of the inside of the out hail clamp ( (eg the bit that goes around the boom). The rubber packs out the gap caused by the shape of the side profile of the boom, but more importantly, it doesn't slip up and down the boom.
