Hi all
Looking for something for longboard windsurfing. I have long-john wetsuits and such but I tend to get over heated wearing them in summer. What I'm after is like a rash vest for your legs. Probably not a lycra bodysuit, as the sight of the beer belly might turn people off windsurfing but still something that will protect the legs.
Any thoughts?
Some people wear stinger suits. Years ago I found a pair of lycra pants in a ladies gymwear shop that served well against jellyfish and the sun.

I went to long johns because I'm continually knocking the skin off my shins. My nurse wife berates me saying I'm an osteopath myalitis case waiting to happen. Might get a pair of long wetsuit pants this summer to keep a bit cooler
these are Lycra:

ill keep looking for neoprene, I would prefer something a little more .... discrete...
might try these:

Try Skins, or their equivalent. Latest ones I got from KMart or Target. Same Lycra type material. My wife kindly sews elastic to hook under arch of foot to stop upward movement. Work well under a pair of boardies.
Various Lycra pants available that do the job well. I typically get Adrenalin brand through wetsuit warehouse. Great, and last well. Otherwise think about 1mm wetsuit pants - warmer but more protection. I have a set of Probe 1mm pants that have gone strong for 5 years.
