Anyone had any experience with trojan 500 series epoxy resin? According to the marketing blurb below it's suitable for surf craft...

500 Series Epoxy Laminating Resin is a high performance epoxy based resin system, designed for wet layup and vacuum bagging applications and uses the most up to date chemistry available. The 530 Series with a slow cure time of 30minutes this hardener also is UV stabilised and has a crystal clear cure finish ideal for surfboard applications (3:1). KIT CONTAINS PART A AND PART B

just call them up, they are good to talk and deal with, they make the stuff so they know what they are talking about, have bought epoxy, glass, carbon etc off them heaps of times, have been selling to board builders for years, they actually use to share a massive building with Kracka surf craft who build all styro epoxy boards.

I haven't used that actual resin but i have some normal epoxy from those guys in my garage i have used for repairs and it's work as good as west systems etc,
