500 euros oh man

It's competition is something like the cyclops with an easy pull (done many times on the water) - 1/4 the price
Powerxt (no remote, just a lever) - 1/3 the price
Get to shore and disconnect and wrap line around harness to re-adjust - free!

I thought about it a little more and it may make sense for racers that adjust downhaul more frequently. E.g. IQFoilers that already use adjustable downhaul. Hopefully it would be a little less PITA than running the adjustable downhaul lines.

I like it, it's cool to see some electronic tech in windsurfing. The price seems reasonable for what you get compared to a regular carbon extension, although quite heavy at 1 kg.

That said, there's so much that can potentially fail in a system like this so one more thing that can get you in trouble out in the ocean. Also the cleaning and charging will be yet another thing to remember and take care of so I won't be using it. I don't have a need for it as I rarely adjust downhaul after initially rigging on the beach.

Hopefully it becomes a successful product though.
