Thumbs Up

I just thought that I would post this as there have been a few posts about injuries recently.

I had a major elbow reconstruction following the breakage of the radial head in a skateboarding accident. It affected my ability to windsurf, and caused me much discomfort and pain.

Following sevaral opperations, and having the metal work taken out from my elbow after 12 months, nothing seemed to help my flexibility or the pain untill I was put onto a Excercise Physiologist.

After 2, one hour remedial massages, my arm is feeling supprisingly loose, and some of my initial pain symtoms have gone away. At the rate that I am feeling improvement, I now feel a glimmer of hope that things will be getting back to normal, whereas before, I thought that I would have to throw in the towel on windsurfing due to the pain.

I always thought that massage was a bit BS, but now can say with confidence that its worth every penny. Especially if you are doing rehab.

Just my 2 cents.
