Nice vid,

I could be imagining it but is that a dorsal and tail fin at 2.19?

A friend of mine went down there on a surfing trip several years ago, he said he had the time of his life.
The rides are so long that there were locals on the beach with buggies, that would drive you back out to the point to start all over again. He said that the rides were so long that you really didn't want to paddle back out that far. Windsurfers don't have that problem.

The reason that it hasn't become a Peruvian windsurfing mecca yet, is because the amenities there leave very much to be desired, it's pretty primitive.
We need some rich guy to go down there, spend some money, and turn that place into something really nice.
Even something like Solo Sports, who set up a nice camp at Punta San Carlos, Mex. would be a big help.

BTW, 3 minutes is a very looooong time to work a wave windsurfing, to properly work a wave, you have to be out of your harness lines, a serious arm burner for sure. You can see Bernd shake off his arm towards the end of his wave in that first vid, and he's just a kid.
