The Mexico parts, the biggest cleanest waves, are from Punta San Carlos on the west coast of Baja.
The California parts, the smaller faster waves, are from Arroyo Laguna, central coast area, half way between L.A. and S.F., my main sailing spot.
I was there during those days that it was filmed by Kevin and Brian. Graham would get air and pull off a variety of rotations so fast that we couldn't tell which direction he rotated, we'd look at each other, "what the hell was that?". It was a hoot having Kevin and Graham here those days, it was last year.
After filming at Arroyo, they headed straight down to PSC to get those waves and shots.
I didn't see anything from Hawaii in there, strange.
I Surf/Kite/Sup , cant windsurf to save my life ,but that was some of the best waves and riding i have seen for some time , thanks for the post , wish i could see more of it. ![]()

Being caught inside on. a big day with a standard surfboard and a nice strong leggie still freaks me out. I can't imagine trying to waterstart in those conditions. Much respect"
Pretty good but I don't think it compares anywhere near this video
