After a long and dusty journey, Nebbian finally arrived at Mecca. His camel had consumed increasing quantities of oil along the way, and was looking quite overloaded with supplies. The other pilgrims did gather round and compare stories, for the day was long.

And so it came to pass that the next day, Nebbian travelled to the sandhills, thereby to communicate with the great prophet Seabreezio, who foretold of a distinct lack of wind for the next few days. At the news there was much wailing and gnashing of teeth, for it had been a week since the last big blow.

On the third day, the prophet spake of some strange green arrows, which would be loosed apon the waiting multitudes. And this news provoked great rejoicing, for the assembled boards and sails were getting very dusty.

And on the Sabbath... Nebbian did rig his Ezzy 5.0, and soared like a bird (albeit briefly) on the wings and shoulders of the wind and waves.

And it was good

Read the text, Ritchiefish. Neb RODE... a camel, that drinks oil, and carries his family and presumably boards too. I'll bet he was being guided by a star.

It is the promised land, isn't it Neb.

I'd drive there if my car had an autopilot.

WA - the only state in the world where a school teacher will actually get promoted for calling a teddy bear "huey".

Still staying at corros, nursing a big toe that has swelled to massive proportions after twisting it out of the footstrap while doing a duck gybe that stopped a bit more abruptly than I was expecting...

My whole body is aching, over a week of sailing mostly 18-25 knots, luckily my hands have gotten the message to HTFU so I don't have to wear those girly gloves anymore.

If any queenslander thinks that they know how to sail, come over here and watch the good guys in the late afternoon...

After the amount of sailing I've done over the last few weeks, I'm not sure I'll ever go back to Qld!

Now have a quiver of Ezzy's and am very close to acquiring a new waveboard...

Will be back down Mandurah way by Christmas.
