Borne out of 10 years of doing this race i thought i would share some nuggets of gold that might help out those of you
who are less experienced.

I will cover sail size, rig and board tuning for downwinders and some race craft. Those that will benefit most from this video are weekend sailors
who sail mostly flat water or general reaching back and forth.

The objective is to make this race as much fun as possible for as many windsurfers as possible!

i stay well away from weedies as they feel like
you already have weed on your fin! and lots of people seem to cut themselves on that massive trailing edge.

you can usually just jump the weed off or sail around it. thats just my personal preference though. does anyone know if race has ever been won by someone using a weed fin?

i dont think it has. but i could be wrong!
